Duo Nallıhan transfers this layered geography onto the surface of silk through the traditional art of marbling.

The fluid patterns of marbling abstract the colorful rock surfaces of Nallıhan, the natural movement in its valleys, and the traces left by water. Each surface resembles the layers formed by nature's own rhythm: sometimes the crimson line of a hill, sometimes the soft transition of a valley, sometimes the movement of birds in the sky appears on the silk.

This interpretation comes to life in the form of 100% silk scarves and pocket squares. The lightness and fluidity of silk transform Nallıhan's fairy-tale nature into an intimate, elegant, and portable form. The ebru applications on Duo Nallıhan’s silk surfaces are handcrafted by the ebru artist Meltem Melkuç. The colors that take shape on the water transform Nallıhan’s rock layers, valleys, and natural movement into an abstract pattern language.

Belvü Tekstil, silk production

Scarves and pocket squares are crafted by the Belvü Tekstil team using 100% silk fabrics prepared with a satin weave technique. The edges are hand-rolled and stitched, thus preserving the lightness, fluidity, and elegant drape of the silk throughout the product.

The fibula and tie pin accompanying the set are produced as gold-plated brass accessories by Fatih Yaman. Forms inspired by Phrygian heritage are transformed into a contemporary accessory language through the molding, casting, and plating process after hand-shaping.
