Duo Nallıhan draws inspiration from Nallıhan, a landscape of valleys and colourful hills set along the migratory route of countless birds.

Nallıhan holds one of the most extraordinary layers of colour in Ankara’s natural landscape. Rock formations, valleys, wetlands and the seasonal movement of birds come together within a single view. The memory of the earth, shaped over millions of years, is transformed into fluid marbling patterns across the surface of silk.

The set brings together a 100% silk scarf featuring marbled patterns inspired by Nallıhan’s colourful rock layers and a gold-plated brass fibula that evokes the region’s Phrygian heritage. It creates an elegant connection between the vibrant colours of Ankara’s landscape and its ancient cultural legacy.

Materials and Use
  • The scarf is created by applying traditional marbling by hand to 100% silk fabric. As each silk surface is individually crafted, slight variations may occur in the distribution of colour, pattern and transitions. These variations are part of the product’s unique handmade character.
  • Dry cleaning is recommended to preserve both the marbling and the natural texture of the silk. When necessary, the scarf may be gently hand-washed in lukewarm water.
  • The fibula is produced by shaping the original form by hand, followed by brass casting and gold plating. The final details are finished by hand, giving each piece its own distinctive artisanal character.
  • To preserve its shine, avoid direct contact with perfume, water and chemicals.
