Duo Mogan draws inspiration from Ankara’s water, reed, and bird memory.

Lake Mogan is like a calm yet dynamic area created by water within the steppe. The fluid traces on the lake's surface, the rhythm of the reeds, the passage of birds, and the life established around the water embody one of Ankara's natural layers that are not immediately visible. The movement of the water and the memory of the birds guide the visual world of this set.

This set brings together a 100% silk foulard with an ebru pattern, inspired by the fluid water traces and bird sanctuary of Lake Mogan, and a gold-plated brass fibula reminiscent of a bird's wing. It carries an elegant connection we have established with Ankara's nature.

Materials and Use

The scarf is made with handmade marbling on 100% silk fabric.

Since each silk surface is prepared by hand, small differences in color distribution, pattern, and transitions may be observed. These differences are part of the handmade character of the product.

To preserve the marbling application and the natural texture of the silk, dry cleaning is recommended. If necessary, the scarf can be hand-washed gently in lukewarm water.

The fibula is designed as a gold-plated brass accessory inspired by the form of a bird's wing. The hand-molded form is completed through brass casting and gold plating processes. The final touches are done by hand. Therefore, each product has handmade characteristics.

To maintain the fibula's shine, it is recommended to avoid direct contact with perfume, water, and chemicals.

The scarf can be used in various ways around the neck, in the hair, on a bag, or on clothing. The fibula can be used to secure the scarf or as an elegant metal detail on its own.
